S7-1200 Analog Modules
Siemens S7-1200 Analog Expansion Modules permit the use of analog inputs/outputs by the CPU. This provides users with optimum adaption; with analog signal modules users can optimally adapt their controllers even to more complex tasks. Sensors can be connected directly, with up to 14 bit resolution and different input ranges permit the connection of sensors without the need for an additional amplifier. If the task is expanded subsequently, the controller can be upgraded. Updating of the user program is extremely simple.
S7-1200 Analog Modules are available in three types, the SM 1231 Analog Input Module (6ES7231-4HD30-0XB0) allows the connection of the controller to analog signals of the process, the (SM 1232 Analog Output Module6ES7232-4HB30-0XB0) permit the use of analog outputs and the (SM 1234 Analog Input/ Output Module6ES7234-4HE30-0XB0) permit the use of analog inputs/outputs.
