Siemens S7-200 Analog Modules
Siemens S7-200 Analog Expansion Modules permit the use of analog inputs/outputs by the CPU. This provides users with optimum adaption; with analog signal modules users can optimally adapt their controllers to even more complex tasks. Sensors can be connected directly, with up to 12 bit resolution and different input ranges permit the connection of sensors without the need for an additional amplifier. If the task is expanded subsequently, the controller can be upgraded. Updating of the user program is extremely simple.
S7-200 Analog Modules are available in three ranges, the EM 231 Analog Input Modules (6ES7231) allows the connection of the controller to analog signals of the process, including an RTD Module and a Thermocouple Module, the EM 232 Analog Output Modules (6ES7232) permit the use of analog outputs and the EM 235 Analog Input/ Output Module (6ES7235) permit the use of analog inputs/outputs.
