Festo Safety Soft Start and Exhaust Valves

Festo MS6-SV Electrically operated pneumatic soft-start and exhaust valve that provides safer start-up and quick and reliable venting of compressed air supplies in the event of an emergency.  It is fully compliant with the new EN ISO 13849-1 standard on machinery safety and is certified to categories 3 & 4.  Festo MS6-SV Safety Valve functions as a (de)centralised unit for supplying machines and systems with compressed air.  This means that the safety-oriented pneumatic safety measure ("safe venting") is guaranteed even if any potential errors occur within the valve. The safety check of the piston rod position is carried out directly from the valve during self-testing. This means that the wiring is less complex, which also simplifies installation.
