Manual Motor Starter
Manual Motor Starters are compact, current limiting motor starter protectors which are optimized for load feeders. The manual motor starter is used for switching and protecting induction motors of up to 45kW at 400 V AC and for other loads with rated currents of up to 100A. Manual Motor Starters are available in four sizes that vary in size physically due to their current rating.
Manual Motor Starters with a current setting range of 0.11..12A are a size S00 with a width of 45mm and a height of 105mm, this makes them ideal for induction motors up to 5.5kW. The Size S0 Motor Starter Protectors have a width of 45mm and a height of 106mm with a current setting range of 1.8..25A which makes them ideal for motors with a maximum rating of 11kW.
The Size S2 Motor Starter Protectors have a width of 55mm and a height of 130mm with a current setting range of 11..50A which makes them ideal for motors with a maximum rating of 22kW. Manual Motor Starters with a current setting range of 45..100A are a size S3 with a width of 70mm and a height of 155mm, this makes them ideal for induction motors up to 45kW.
