Siemens Infeed System
The 3RV19 Infeed System is a convenient means of energy supply and distribution for a group of several motor starter protectors or complete load feeders with a screw or spring-type connection system up to size S0. The system is based on a basic module complete with a lateral incoming unit (3RV1917-1A, 3RV1917-1E). This infeed with spring-loaded terminals is mounted on the right or left depending on the version and can be supplied with a maximum conductor cross-section of 25mm2.
The 3RV19 Infeed System consists of; A 3-Phase busbar with infeed unit is required for connecting the supply. A choice of two designs are available with infeed from the left (3RV1917-1A) or the right (3RV1917-1E). The incoming supply is connected via cage clamp terminals. The cage clamp springs permit conductor cross sections of up to 25mm2 with end sleeves. An end cover is supplied with each module.
The 3-Phase busbars for system expansion support expansion of the system. There is a choice of modules with 2 (3RV1917-4A) or 3 (3RV1917-4B) sockets. The system can be expanded as required up to a maximum current carrying capacity of 63A. An expansion plug (3RV1917-5BA00) is supplied with each module.
The plug in connector is used for the electrical connection between the 3-phase busbar and the motor starter protector. There are three different versions:
One version for 3RV Motor Starter Protectors size S00 with screw terminals (3RV1917-5CA00).
one version for 3RV Motor Starter Protectors size S0 with screw terminals (3RV1927-5AA00).
One version for 3RV Motor Starter Protectors size S00 with spring loaded terminals (3RV1917-5AA00).
Load feeders can be assembled in the system using the contactor assembly base (3RV1917-7AA00). The contactor bases are suitable for contactors of size S00 with spring-loaded terminals and are simply snapped onto the 3-phase busbars. Direct on-line starters and reversing starters are also possible.
The 3RV1917-5D terminal block enables the integration of not only SIRIUS motor starter protectors but also single-phase, 2-phase and 3-phase components in addition. Using the terminal block the 3 phases can be fed out of the system; single phase loads can also be integrated in the systemas a result.
